In 1937 a small band of Cedar Hill residents gathered on the Old Town Square to fellowship and renew old friendships. As the years passed more and more folks returned on the 2nd Saturday in October for what became known as the Old Settlers' Reunion. Proceeds benefit Bridge's Safehouse and the Cedar Hill Food Pantry.
Today that event has grown into what we call Country Day on the Hill, but the settlers still gather around the square on Friday for the following events:
- Bingo
- Crowning of the King and Queen of the Hill
- A light supper
- Live musical entertainment
- Prizes
