2019 summer reading art contest

Universe of Stories

The Zula B. Wylie Public Library is busy preparing for a Summer Reading Program that is out of this world, using this year’s theme Universe of Stories. The Friends of the Zula B Library are sponsoring an Art Contest based on this years’ theme. Any student residing in Cedar Hill or attending a Cedar Hill School will be eligible for the cash prizes which will be presented to the winners in each age category. Winners will also be presented to the Cedar Hill City Council and CHISD Board of Trustees.

All artwork must be done by the artist represented on the submission and art becomes the property of the Zula B. Wylie Public Library. This artwork may be used for a variety of purposes and used for publication in all media.  Rules for submissions are listed on the submission form here  and at the Zula B. Wylie Public Library.  Deadline for submission is 5 pm, Saturday, April 20th, at the Shared Information Desk of the library.
