Finding Your Roots: The Basics of Family History Research - A Virtual Genealogy Lesson

This is an introduction to genealogical research techniques and resources. It describes how to go about researching your family’s history, how to use the most common genealogical data sources and where to find them. While genealogical research is a lifelong learning process, Introduction to Genealogy will help the beginner to start researching their family’s history.
In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, the Cedar Hill Genealogical Society will not be meeting in person until restrictions, placed by Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins and Governor Abbott are lifted.
