Cedar Hill offers over 36 miles of trails, ideal for a morning run, weekend bike ride, or simply a family walk. The brand new Red Oak Creek trail is the newest addition to the ever growing trail system and links various locations throughout the city.

Red Oak Creek Trail
Red Oak Creek Trail is our newest addition to the City of Cedar Hill trail system. Enjoy the 3.16 mile, 12-foot concrete multi-use trail that links to neighborhoods, greenbelts, City Parks, schools and the Alan E. Sims Cedar Hill Recreation Center. The trail was made possible by Dallas County, Cedar Hill City Council and the Community Development Corporation.

Pleasant Run Road TrailThis trail is approximately 1 mile in length connecting Joe Wilson Road to Duncanville Road along Pleasant Run Road.
Lake Ridge Parkway Hike & Bike Trail
This trail is approximately 3.6 miles in length connecting Mansfield Road to Highway 67 along Lake Ridge Parkway.
This trail is approximately 2.1 miles of trail.
Straus Road to New Clark Road Trail
FM 1382 Phase I Trail - New Clark Road to Penn Branch Road (State Park)
This trail is approximately 1.5 miles in length and will include amenity stations along the trail.
FM 1382 Phase II Trail - Penn Branch Road (State Park) to Joe Pool Overlook
This trail is approximately 1.5 miles in length and will include amenity stations along the trail, one of which, will be an overlook structure to enjoy the green space of the metroplex.
